Yeah, I've had a busy day. Woke up early to watch the inauguration. Thought it was all pretty good, minus the bad poetry. I dropped my car's insurance so I now have some extra money to pay off my loans with but I also got a pretty nice refund which I'll probably use to buy Mirror's Edge for the PC. I finally found a friend's phone number again. It's been awhile since I talked with her so I called up and can only get the voice mail. It's kinda sad but just hearing her voice, even if it was only through voicemail, was kinda nice. Makes my heart pang in memory of better times. Seriously... the only reason I've kept this blog open is because it basically is the only place I can vent or talk out to. My social skills have all been shot to hell through my year long social isolation. It's to the point now that I really can't figure out how to talk to other people. For some reason during the last week I haven't been able to eat. I have enough money but I'm just not motivated. The weird thing is, my stomach is telling me that I am hungry but my brain isn't. It's... weird. Friggin' depression is annoying.

I signed up a few months ago for a private beta of a new type of desktop visualization software called "Bump Top". Basically, it's a more interactive desktop which feels a lot more like a video game. It is a sad day. The anime "Serial Experiments Lain" no longer screws with my brain quite as much as it used to. I miss the existential breakdowns that I had. I swear, I nearly flunked the spring term because of that anime. I couldn't convince myself that even I exist. Actually I still can't, I just manage it slightly better.
