And how typical of Jack is it that a kiss is his wake-up trigger? I suspect that if the Doctor and Rose knew him better they'd have guessed that might be it *g*
I love the way you show the Doctor's behaviour, too: worry disguised as anger, but as filtered through Rose's POV we know she understands what he's really feeling.

And I bet the Doctor's blaming himself for that the whole way through.

The other thing I like is the sense of foreshadowing I get from Jack having to be woken up with a kiss. It *so* works...
