Not sure if you're already aware of this, but you should plant your mint in a container. Mint is *very* aggressive, and pretty much impossible to control if planted in the ground. It will literally take over everything!

Also if you want some mint plants, let me know around May-ish and I can bring you as many as you want from my cottage (where the mint has conquered most of the lake shore. It makes a nice smell when you mow the lawn though.)

Yeah mint spreads, I've grown it in pots for the past while. Also cool! I will take you up on that. re: mint plants.

U do relize that hops plants can grow over 14 feet tall eh??

I am aware that yes they can grow very tall. So I may just purchase them ready to go if I home-brew. HOWEVER, I would be ok with 14 foot hop plants. I still have a bunch of research to do, but it will be fun research.
