Life is a changing alot

As of August 22nd, I will be unemployed. I have held project positions at the University for the past four years and I can not be renewed any more. Add to that some serious hiring freezes and I am out of luck.

I certainly know how you're feeling. I went through much the same myself back in '01 when the place I was working for went out of business. It was 8 months before I found anything else, and even that was for $4/hr less than the mediocre amount I had in the first place. I definitely wish you the best in your search. And definitely take the advice--I know all too well the shot that one's pride takes, but that's what it's there for
