So. Seems a few folk have found turtles laying about. Don't know about anyone else, but you don't want, I'd be happy to take them.

Gambit, Sugar, got a question for you. If you have a chance, that is. Ain't no hurry on my account.

mock turtle soup, !event

...Turtles? Really? Are we experiencing an infestation?

Don't know. Book did tell me I was gong to find one, however, and I did. Fancy that, Sugar.

[That's a good first try, really. It won't work, but still...]

A pleasure. Jason.

[This is a man who has had something living in his wall for the past few days. It's been driving him crazy. His voice is a little more haggard than usual.]

Weird t'ings goin' on 'round here, mon ami. Not that it's anythin' too far outta the ordinary in dis place.

Anyway. You rang?

[Voice] Remember that ear perk? ...yeah, you've been 'drafted', Gambit. Sorry. dun_measure_up November 27 2011, 23:03:56 UTC
If I offered to share the bounty, could I convince you to make some soup?

Fact of the matter is I am a terrible, terrible cook, Sugar, and ain't nothing like food from the South. 'Specially New Orleans.

[Voice] XD Well, that's what he gets. kineticcajun November 27 2011, 23:15:52 UTC
[There's a bit of a pause. It's probably a good thing Gambit likes to cook, otherwise this might rub the wrong way.]

Wit' the turtles? Been a while since I tried makin' any turtle soup, homme, but I t'ink I remember a recipe.

[Grin.] Guess it all depends on how many people're gonna try an' stop you from gettin' any turtles t'cook in the firs' place.

[All he has to do is say no...nevertheless, buttering-up is certainly a go; Jason needs a cook in his life. Badly.]

Well, ain't sure it'll happen, but if it does, one wants to be prepared. And since I know all of five people here, and you alone have mentioned a predilection for the preparation of consumables, and ain't 12, I thought you'd be a good place to start. Besides, if an old Cajun ain't able to cook up some turtle, I ain't sure anyone could.
