So. Seems a few folk have found turtles laying about. Don't know about anyone else, but you don't want, I'd be happy to take them.

Gambit, Sugar, got a question for you. If you have a chance, that is. Ain't no hurry on my account.

Don't know. Book did tell me I was gong to find one, however, and I did. Fancy that, Sugar.

[That's a good first try, really. It won't work, but still...]

A pleasure. Jason.

St. Andrews. Sorry, Sugar. Spent too much time surrounded by Yankees. My mother'd be appalled by my manners.

Miss Summers, then. I will truthfully say chances are good I ain't going to remember. Fair warning, I'm no good with names.

Tell me what you drink, on the other hand, I'll never need to ask again.

Here? You're more likely to tell me what you drink. I tend bar at the local pub. Good Spirits.

Funny. That's what I did for spending cash back home. Though I'd not really call it a pub so much, as a place where you get rather drunk in the company of rather dangerous looking folks.

No, other would say that. I called it work. Was fun, Sugar, most nights.

I know the kind of place. Frequented one of those back home, actually. Not as tender or drinker, though.

[ more like one of those dangerous looking folks and even then only because the other dangerous looking folks hanging out in the demon bar could only guess that a tiny blonde woman stalking to the place had to be the slayer looking for a shake-down. ]

[Chuckles at that]

Sounds like trouble to me. Not that I'd complain too much. Only real reason I worked there is because Niall told me it wasn't my kind of place. Took it as a challenge.

Sorry, Sugar. He's my...

Well.

[A slight pause]

Ex, would probably be the best term.

...Oh. Exes. Never --or, uhm, rarely-- are those happy subjects. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to push the awkward.

It's complicated. And I don't mind thinking on him at all, Sugar.

Point is, I've seen my fair share of roguish characters.
