i'd like to compile a list of complaints about living in this canisius college apartment, but first i'd like to mention that there shouldn't even be a list considering the cost to be a full time student and resident (before scholarships/financial aid) is $32,121 a year. the cost to live in this hole-in-the-wall "apartment" is a whopping $5940 for ( Read more... )

my college's apartments were the same way. it was ridiculous.

we had problems with our dishwasher, they said we put too many dishes in it. i showed them the size load, and that wasn't the deal. LOL. (4 dishes, two bowls, 5 glasses, a pan and some silverware)

cheap bastards. they make out like bandits and don't wanna fix shit.

I live in the village and we've had numerous problems as well. First our back door broke and they took 4 days to fix it and 2 days later it was broke again. My room mate got locked in her room cause the door knob broke. The room inspector left the back door open when he came for inspection and five of our books got stollen. So i'm going to say it's probably more cost efficient to live off campus.

Baby, just think...in three or four short months
we'll have our OWN apartment with our OWN problems.
And you won't have to sleep next to an ice wall our
bed will be big enough to accomodate your junk in the trunk
and my enormity.

Stick it out a few more months, the reward will be worth it.
