Feeling that I am in this all alone. Then I discovered a few new friends, who has been there and done that. It's like a breath of fresh air <3 ( Read more... )

I'm not talking about that.

Have you read what you've been writing? Who are you addressing this to?

Do you realize that the reason why we haven't been calling you was because we thought you were on honeymoon and we didn't want to pester you?

Do you realize that you've been talking about what True Friends are, we're sitting here, and thinking, "Bloody hell, why hasn't she told us what she wanted?"

Shit, girl. Just... don't call us right now. hanishoney's asleep, and I need to be as well. Email us or something, I'll get back to you.

*headdesk* Sowwy, as Cory and I both agree, Hani and Tariq is amongst our most loved friends actually. Who else to make us laugh like crazy and talk about the most random stuff in the universe. Plus, would I be begging you to have a BBQ + RPG party and turn around and stab you in the back. Hani would agree with me that I wouldn't :P~

BTW can we schecdule that soon? ;) I miss being able to do cool super heroes stuff.

I have consistantly refused to align myself with other half expats.

I call that prejudice, when you choose not to be friends with people just because of their race or country. Hello, just open your mind to new friends, regardless of whether they are expats or not. You say you are fine alone without a huge amount of friends, but what happens then is that you become insular and close-minded and unable to cope with differences.

If an old friend wrongs you, fine; cut him/her out of your life. But there are billions of people out there you have never met, and you need to find people who come into your life, just as surely as you kick people out of it ( ... )

Actually, the problem with working WITH expats is you tend to not like them.... It's not a prejudice where I go, "OMGWTF white devil!". My husband is white, he is an expat however the expats that I work tend to overwhelm my opinion. Maybe they are more relaxed in a social background, however it would be difficult for me to pretend that they are not @$$e$ on a daily basis.
