I have somehow set my heart on having one. Cause it would truly suck not to celebrate with friends after my nikah. I know ppl went to TJ's cause it's at night. At the current date that I am choosing 8 Feb 2008 (I choose that date cause I am not sure if I can have it earlier XD), it would be a Friday, and I know it's not going to be a nikah at home

And re: english speaking kadi (i know this was in the other post, but wth)
For my mom's nikah, she did it at the JAIS hq at Shah Alam. The Kadi was, if i'm not mistaken, the head of dept. There's an english version of the ceremony, and he read it aloud - so simple ne?
So when you submit all those bloody forms at JAIS, request the nikah to be done in english. :)

I am going crazy with my wedding planning, it's so stressful.
Right now I am torn btw a formal reception on the day itself or just a BBQ with formal reception much later(or never).
