For the longest time I have wanted to play D&D. Not like the fake computerized D&D, nor any other video game RPG, but a real RPG with geeks a plenty sitting in a circle rolling various sided dice. Alright Mark, I thought it over. Buy me a plane ticket and I'll be just as geeky as you want.
Hell, Ill even settle for a bus ticket.

It's a stretch for me to shell out the $25 for the basic game to play, much less transportation halfway across the country. Maybe there's a way to have a non-online game long distance? I dunno, though.

You needn't crash, you're on the guest-list! I don't know if I can find enough people to have a full party, so if you know any other closet D&D fans, let me know. We can invite them too.

Just while talking about board games... esstmehrobst October 8 2005, 09:59:51 UTC
Do you know a game which is called "settlers" or something like that? 3-6 players build up settlements on an island made up of hexagon-shaped cards, each card indicating a kind of resource which the player who settles on a corner of that card is allowed to harvest. It is all about trading and stuff.
