My self created tentative schedule for the week:

Sunday: Tara Thornton

Monday or Tuesday: Drusilla

Wednesday or Thursday: Adelle DeWitt

Friday or Saturday or Sunday: More Drusilla, probably more Tara.

People hate Adelle? No seriously there's people in the Dollhouse fandom that hate Adelle? I mean it's Adelle DeWitt.

(Then again I don't get the people who are fans of any given show but can't stand the main character. I always feel like asking Then why are you watching?" I get not being fond of a character when it's an ensemble cast but when the show is about someone and you don't like them, I just don't get it.)

I KNOW RIGHT? I don't know who these phantom people are in the fandom, but I never want to meet them.

(Word. And while I'll admit that main characters are rarely my favorites in series, I don't watch shows where I outright don't like the main character.)

Well I wasn't going to put it quite that way but yeah totally.

It never ceases to amaze me how negative fandom can be. Such a little cesspool of hate. I think your icon's right, let's join Adelle in getting drunk... Fandom makes my head hurt.

Haha, you are clearly nicer then me.

It's so insane how fandom, sprung from such love and affection twists into something dark and hateful.

Which is kinda why i adore lovefests like this. AND AND AND have you seen the The Unusual Opinions Amnesty Post? It brings me hope that fans can have differing ideas and it not turn into a steaming pile of wank.

If I wasn't detoxing like a mofo after this Dragoncon (seriously just wrote 5400 on my first day of it) I would have signed up for Maryann and Maya! Maya needs to be fought for!

I am curious to see what they write for her or if it's just pictures. Cuz when I post something for Maryann/Maya next year, it'll be a long ass rant about fandom and how they've really done nothing wrong (Maya anyway. Maryann's done wrong but no worse than Eric).

BTW I actually found one Storm cosplayer at Dragoncon. Of course I immediately ran over and took her photo. It was actually on day one but after having that post get too long I decided I'll just save it for a day that isn't getting close to lj limits.
