"I got him," Jared yells, running to the left, in pursuit of their suspect. "Get the other one."

Jensen accepts the challenge and sprints forward, trying to catch up to the accomplice. They're heading straight for the end of the alleyway before a right turn could take them out onto a main street when he hears a muted gunshot and then his walkie goes off with Hodges' voice yelling over the line.

Officer down! Repeat, Officer down! 40th and California, back alleyway. Officer down!Jensen stops in his tracks and his heart beats twenty times faster than it just was, and without another thought, he turns around to run back from where he came
