I'll look forward to it. And you're not the only one moving, I do the drive from Maryland to Wisconsin on the 9th, with a side trip up North to Calgary and Fort MacLeod in the process for Stampede and South Country Fair. Good luck on the move!
Speaking of Dief and bills, Dief has been shot...twice? At least once; I've been watching too many episodes in too short a time to remember S3 or S4 clearly. Anyway, big vet bills there.
Also, Fraser was shot and spent ages in the hospital in "Letting Go," not to mention the other times he's had to go in for patching up. Those kind of bills stay with a person, I'd think.
Wouldn't the RCMP cover some of that, though? (Fraser's bills, not Dief's) Since he was shot in the line of duty?
Well, okay, that one time he was shot jumping bail. But nobody but Ray seems to know that anyway. And all the other times were definately in the line of duty.

According to the RCMP site, active members get "Full Medical and Dental Plans". That should cover at least most of the medical bills. Since he's not in CA, the RCMP or Consulate or whichever will provide him local health Insurance ( I work at a doctor's office, and have handled several foreign embassy workers since we're in Washington, DC. They all have local insurance

I agree, when I was researching the patches, I looked carefully for the k-9 patch on Fraser's sleeve. I was rather suprised he DIDN'T have one.
