I can't feel my arms!

Sweet. I did the initial test for 100 push ups, doing knee pushups, as mentioned previously, so I could get full pushups all the way down to the floor. I got 10. Then I decided, since 10 is right on the upper level of what people doing the column 2 workout should do, and since I would go ahead and start the program rather than waiting a day since I ( Read more... )

I envy you. I tried to show Gregory how to do a pushup a couple months ago, and one of them sent such agony through the wrists I could not do it.

You know, something I used to do (for about a year my left wrist was good for nothing - just strained, not like your issues, but still, this may apply) was roll up a big cushiony towel and do knuckle pushups. Takes all the strain off your wrists. Or, to build similar strength in arms and core, do plank on elbows/knees or elbows/toes.

Unfortunatly I tried the knuckles, but it was still to much pressure on those stupid damaged nerves.

Plank is a yoga thing ("plank pose"), but it's basically the starting, "up" position of a push-up.
