Things I didn't expect to do this weekend: ARGUE WHETHER TRANSITIONING SOMEONE'S CONSCIOUSNESS INTO A CLONE BODY CONSTITUTES A MEANINGFUL CHANGE IN THEIR IDENTITY.

coldbam reminded me last night that when I first noticed my nomination was altered I told her I couldn't imagine any way that it wouldn't be a simple, straightforward fix. TECHNICALLY, I WAS RIGHT, BECAUSE I COULD NEVER HAVE IMAGINED THIS.
SO PETTY. Like, I don't read comics and so I always find comic universe stuff to be impenetrable, so I sympathize with the initial mistake, but everyone has explained the issue VERY CLEARLY and I do not understand why they're not just like, "whoops, our bad," instead of this BIZARRE DOUBLING DOWN. Like, it is honestly hilarious but also, just, who acts like this. Between this and the Elementary ("well, my head-canon says this character is actually two people, so that's what I'm nominating!") thing I am just. Omg. popcorn.gif, I can't even.
No problem! One way or another I was going to end up putting it all together for my own reference and memory, and it was as good a way to spend a slow workday as any.
