Great success!

Sounds like the police auction turned out a great success! Unfortunately, I was stuck inside a blue badger the whole time, so I didn’t get to be a part of any of the real action.

I’m a little disappointed, pal. I've had my eye on that fancy scooter for quite some time now. The old car hasn’t been holding up too well and I got a feeling a little ( Read more... )

You were in a Blue Badger suit the whole auction, Gummy? That's no fair! You should've been in on the fun, too!

Maaan, if I had known, I would've loaned you some money so you could've tried for the scooter. Just like old times, heh.

...Try some topical cream and hope for the best? Or, y'know, there's always the doctor.

Yeah, pal! I waved at you but I don't think you noticed.

Hmm...I think I got some old cream somewhere in the medicine cabinet. I'll give it a look! I guess I'll see how that works before doing anything drastic like going to a doc.

That sounds awful, sir!

Uhm, I've never had any problems with that when I'm in costume... But you shouldn't scratch it! That would just make it a lot worse.

Sure glad you didn't have the same problem, and you're probably right! Thanks for the advice, Maggey.

It's just real hard not to scratch, y'know? It's kinda...all over.

M... Maybe you could try wearing oven mitts!

I remember when I had chicken pox as a little girl, my mom made me wear these really soft mittens so I couldn't make it worse!

Hmm...I don't know if I have any oven mitts. I do have a pair of socks, though! You think those would work?

I'm so sorry you were disappointed with the results of the auction, Detective. Maybe next time you'll be more fortunate! But your department did a wonderful job of organizing the event, and I'm sure they appreciated your involvement.

It's a shame about your skin problem. When I was a boy and had a rash, my mother would make a paste out of honey and cinnamon and apply it to the problem area. I don't quite remember how well it worked, but it always smelled very nice.

Or perhaps try some apple cider vinegar!

Honey and cinnamon paste...apple cider vinegar...?

Those sound tasty, pal!

... Now that you mention it, most Cohdopian folk remedies do seem to involve food of some kind!

I did often eat the honey, though I wasn't supposed to.

Yeah, I don't blame you! It seems like a waste to rub it all over your body instead of eating it...But I'll look into it. Thanks, pal!

Send Herr Edgeworth a PM, Herr Gymshoe. No one wants to hear about your rash.

It's Gumshoe, pal...

Trust me, I've tried in the past! But I think my journal's broken or something because I hardly ever get replies back.
