Why can't they have my list of existing tags there for me to choose from when I'm composing my entry???

The Semagic client offers that. In fact, that's one of my favorite recently added features.

Thanks! You are SO helpful. I'll definitely have to download that. I've never seen a reason to download an LJ client. But that is one. ;-)
