I cannot map this city. If I walk the streets arbitrarily, with no agenda, then I learn nothing. We have enough maps of the supposed physical layout anyway. And if I try to map distance between locations I find myself picturing the locations in my mind and arriving that way, in a manner that defies cartography. That... sort of makes sense. It just proves this place is different from all the worlds we came from, I think.

And I honestly don't know what's gotten into everyone. It's like there's some kind of hive mind.

Well, all worlds have quantum locations. I won't pretend I know what it all means, however. I am no quantum physicist, I know only the basics.
