Yay! Another of your genius vids! Wow, those cuts in between... *stares in awe*
I really don't want to sound too daft but I have tried making vids and just can't, so what you do there always fills me with much enthusiasm. :o)
Also I always feel like watching all of Buffy again.... *sigh*

Aww, I loved this! The clip choices were perfect, it was great seeing all my favorite scenes matched with lyrics. Don't apoligize for loving Spuffy, they're just too shippable. You hit all my shipper squee on this and made me want to watch the episodes with them in it again too. I haven't seen a ton of Spuffy videos (I've been pacing myself so I don't get tired of all the scenes) so the scenes seemed fresh and emotional to me at least. We all need a chance to play with our favorite clips. Back to the vid, I loved the intercutting, it tied the video together and showed visually showed the up/down nature of their relationship ( ... )

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback. :} And there are some very good Spuffy vids out there. Some of my faves from a ways back are by heresluck and sdwolfpup and bloodypoetry. I just don't know if they're all online anymore. ;)

I really liked this, even though my view of Buffy/Spike is usually decidedly less schmoopy. I especially liked how your clip choices were sort of... not literal but still literal? Hee. Especially the choices for 'dresser drawer' and 'into my bed'. (And go you for not stinting on the rape scene.) Nice!

When I'm being totally honest with what I saw on the show, my view is generally less schmoopy too, but when I got this idea I could see it. And even if it felt just a hair AU almost, I thought it would be fun. More like vidding fic than the show in some regards. :)

And hee, thank you for the clip choice comments. That's just the balance I was trying to find, so I'm glad you thought they worked.

I was never a huge Spuffy fan but this falls into the area where I find it most appealling, not too dark, not sickly sweet. It does make me feel quite nostalgic about the show and about Spike in particular so I guess your efforts to play up the sentimental side really worked on me.

It's been awhile since I've watched a Spuffy video, and this was a great reminder of why I loved them together. That intro was so good! You had my attention right away, and I love the credits. Even though, as you say, the beat is strong, your cutting still feels right. It's got a nice flow to it. I like the blurred dissolves, too.

Thank you--and thanks for checking it out. I'm not sure anyone is watching many Spuffy vids lately, hee. Well, except me, 'cause y'know, vidding induced shipper fog and all.

And actually, I think I was in other kinds of fog vidding this. One of those times when I could imagine a vid to it, but very little of it looked like I'd hoped when it was actually there. ;P

And since I have you here, in addition to vid-navel-gazing at you, I can tell you I loved being able to rewatch your Spuffy vids while under the influence of that shipper love. ;D I love them anyway, but there is something about watching great vids for a show or 'ship when the high feels fresh again. :} (Which may be one of my favorite things about jumping back and forth between shows to vid.) Thank goodness for you and heresluck, hee.

And, hee, thank you. I haven't re-watched any of my saved Buffy videos lately, even though some of my favorite videos (like, say, Volcano Girls!) are Buffy. I should do that this weekend.
