Great story! I love Danny's folks and it's obvious you did a lot of research. Gun shot wounds are nasty buggers and it was nice to see some reality :-) Ilike the emotional through-line on Steve and Danny. Great job :-) Maybe go back to the comm where you posted and throw up 'complete' on the header. I was surprised to see the whole fic was up :-)

Amazing story with plenty of angst and emotion. The medical detail was impressive and the worry, frustration, and love really came through. Outstanding work!
