Uh, oh... Not only is the case not cooperating, now this!

Jack isn't as good at surveillance as he likes to think, is he? And he isn't exactly being discreet. If Donna's going to say she's Mrs. Carlisle, then she's been disturbed royally.

Now I wonder... Could Jack absorb some of the energy away?

Good to see more. And it was GRAND meeting you at last. :D

Well, in Jack's defence, the first time, when Peter spotted him, Jack hadn't been expecting him to look exactly like Ten, so his surprise was understandable. And the second time, Donna felt him *hee, hee, hee* before she spotted him. But I think it's unrealistic for Jack to ever think he can just blend in and Peter will have something to say about his surveillance technique before it's all said and done.

And yes, it was beyond lovely to see you as well. We won't be presenting at Wizard in August so maybe we can actually sit down together and talk!

I can't wait for the Peter vs Jack showdown. Jack is going to lose face, and hopefully turn completely on Peter and Donna's side. What if he asks for a video where Donna admits to what her life has been like? Might Jack think that's the only way to convince the Outer Space Dunce to back off? (Naturally, it won't, but...) Another friend (I think tardis_mole) said that Jack doesn't blend in. He marinades. :D

Here's hoping I can come. *crosses fingers*

I really like how you took the photo idea and make it seem like a natural progression in their relationship. And having Alec (not Ian) be the one to comment was a good choice. Peter seems more comfortable talking about him and Donna to his co-workers, not just his partner. Shows growth. :D

"For a tiny, almost insignificant sliver of a second, their eyes met and Jack saw Forever."
What a powerful image. Donna would have "forever" in her eyes, a remnant of the ageless nature of the Doctor's mind ( ... )

Thank you, thank you. (Takes a smug little bow). I'm glad you liked this part enough to comment. I know how busy you are with your boys right now ( ... )

Oh I like tkel_paris' suggestion about Jack absorbing the Time Lord energy... Don't think I've seen a fic with that solution before.

I'd forgotten about the pictures, but I like it. And that Peter partly does it so HE will be remembered was heartbreaking.

I've a feeling we're approaching a showdown in this story. All the drama must be resolved sometime, and I'm afraid it's getting closer. (afraid because I don't want the story to end, you understand.)

You know the last sentence? Not surprising... some writers know the beginning and end of their story, it's just everything in between that becomes an issue, how to get from that first point to the final point ( ... )
