Last week a Logan/Veronica fic rec list showed up in my flist, and ever since then, I've been reading tons of Veronica Mars fic. And then today I watched the first 4 episodes again

Aw, VMars! I should rewatch that show soon. At least S1 and S2 anyway ;) I never read much fic for that fandom either, so I have no recs, but thank you for the ones you noted!

Kate! :) I'm having waaay more fun in this rewatch than I thought I would have. Though I'm pretty sure I'm only gonna watch a third of S2 episodes... I kinda ignore the first half of the season, except for Rat Saw God, which is a pretty awesome episode. And yay for the recs being useful to you. There's A LOT of fic out there, but I admit I'm having a good time separating the good from the awful. :)

I spent a ridiculous amount of time last night re-reading my omgsway tag. Those were some of the best times I've had in fandom, ever. And ooooh, I found that community last night after I posted, and I've already bookmarked some stuff, so thank you TONS for having run that comm for so long. :D

Apparently I've already written up a recs list, so I have nothing to contribute it would seem. Especially since I haven't actually read much fic in the past three years. However, I feel the slightest twinge to start with that 'shippers manifesto recs list because I think I've only heard of a couple of them.

Hahaha, I like how you don't remember your INCREDIBLE USEFULNESS TO FANDOM, JENNIFER. :D I have a bunch of your VM posts in my memories, even.

Also, these fics -- Venus and Mars and its sequel, A Life Extraordinary -- STOLE MY BRAIN FOR ALL OF LAST WEEK, it was ridiculous, I spent four nights awake reading them. And the second one is a WIP, and it looks like it still has another two hundred thousand words to go, and omg, I just clicked the link and realized a new chapter was posted over the weekend YAYS, but anyway, it's not like the most incredible story out there, but it's EXTREMELY FUN writing of the fluffy kind, and the world building is the best I've read in AGES, in any fandom.

Ooooh, thank you so much, Teri! I admit I'm having a lot of fun going though the enormous quantity of fic out there and figuring out the good stuff from the badfic, but sometimes it's just NICE to have a list of stuff approved by people I trust. :D

That fandom churned out SO MUCH FIC for a while there. Like any fandom, there's always going to be badfic but VM fandom had quite a few consistently good fic writers that wrote regularly. It was NICE. :)
