Oh man, I loved Cheno SO MUCH on this. But I usually love her on everything. I couldn't care less about her voice (singing or otherwise, heh) but I just love her. I kinda want her to, say, get her GED and come back to the school working as-- damn, I was going to say the school adviser, but that Emma's job. Eh, make her the janitor for all I care. I just want full time Cheno on my TV. She did say she was unemployed at the Emmys...

And the Bambi line but my favorite was "When I heard Sandy wanted to write himself into a scene as Queen Cleopatra, I was aroused. And then furious." Sue ♥ ♥ ♥

As much as I adore Cheno, I really wouldn't want April as a full time character. I liked her plenty in this particular scenario, but I'm pretty sure I would HATE her if she were around all the time.

I think Emma shades more to 'moral centre' than 'truth speaker' but the two niches can and sometimes do blend.

Oh, definitely! Emma is the moral center, even when her actions are motivated by her crush on Will. She truly cares about the students. :)

I haven't been around any icon comms of late so I wouldn't even know where to start looking for icons. The one person I know who made some VERY PRETTY ones is _jems_. :)

[And I've always found it kind of amazing that her speaking voice sounds like a chipmunk, but when she sings it's like sunshine and rainbows and unicorns and flowers.

But also smoky goodness! It's really amazing. This was the first time I've really heard Chenoweth perform, aside from a little bit of the Wicked soundtrack, and the difference between her singing voice and speaking voice is remarkable.

I'm also on the Will is an idiot more times than is making me happy train. It's still kind of bothering me. I liked the guy in the premiere more. Mostly.

I was just introduced to Cheno's singing voice in Pushing Daisies, and she really blew me away!

Yeah, I'm bothered by thinking Will is an idiot too. It kinda feels as if the Pilot lied to us about him!

Anyways, Cheno was great. What a voice.
But I wanted to comment to say how I agree with you on Finn. They are making me mad at him but at the same time he is so adorable that it doesn't stick long with the madness. And I feel just like you said, manipulated.
Finn was a character I loved on the pilot. Now I hope they don't make me change my mind.
I am all for Finn and Rachel, because she loves him. And now this is the only reason, for sure.

I only have the one Glee icon I made. Photoshop and I aren't on speaking terms lately.

I'm annoyed by the manipulation, but not so much about Finn being a jerk in this episode. I'm willing to cut him some slack because he is so completely lost. Also, I liked that there was on-screen catharsis when Rachel slapped him. Hee.

What's REALLY bothering me about Finn is the stupidity thing. Especially the library thing. UUUGH.
