1) So to make a long and boring story short, on Thursday and Friday I thought I had medication side effects and on Saturday it became obvious that I had a cold and as it turns out being sick sucks and is boring. It was the first time in a while that I got the crushing fatigue aspect of being sick, which was frustrating and ruined my fun weekend

God, Teen Wolf. I sort of agree with you that last night's episode was mostly a good one, but the ABSOLUTE SHITSHOW that was the flashback episode is still poisoning the whole thing for me. Other people have already ranted at length and much more effectively about that than I, so I won't bother getting into it except to say even Jennifer turning out to be Paige does not rectify the character assassination of Derek that whole backstory accomplished. (and we won't even talk about Boyd's death OHMYGOD

I've seen all of one episode, but I have a theory about Ethan that maybe the weirdo werewolf magic doesn't recognize twins as two distinct individuals... so that Ethan has been dragged along unwillingly in all of this after Aiden took the bite.

But like i said... ONE EPISODE and a bunch of tumblr watching.

I don't know if last night's ep was the one you saw, but it included Ethan saying, with reference to their mighty morphin' twin power, that they weren't able to "control it" well before they became alphas--which suggests that they were involuntarily merging at times. If Ethan felt that Aiden was more in control when they merged and could never predict when they would merge or separate... I don't think you even have to posit a specific magical thing going on with Ethan's personhood to believe that he's been very much under Aiden's sway for most of their lives, and that he's just now seeing a clear path to make other choices.

I believe in a redeemable Ethan, is what I am saying. *g*
