This is such an amazing story, I'm completely in love with all the little details that make it just so much more realistic. I flailed at the dimensions that you've added to the story like adding things that seem so simple but are often overlooked, like power failures. But I also liked the other touches, like Matt previously rolling his eyes at the National Anthem and the little league baseball Matt played before it became evident he wasn't a "jock". *beams

I haven't even read it yet, but since you wrote one of my very favorite Torchwood stories of all time (Get Loved, Make more, Try to Stay Alive), I am almost drooling.
