You so totally have Alan and Don's relationship down! That whole conversation-in-a-single-glance thing is one of the things I love about the show and you encapsulate that beautifully here. Me want more :makes greedy grabby hands:

Thank you! There is, in fact, rather a lot more where that comes from, if I could just get my act together to finish it. *g*

Oh, knowing that you're writing FOB and MCR slash had me squeeing like a crazy person. Are those two longer stories? (Wow, 250000 words. I am so in awe of you prolific writers.)

Well, 236,000 or the 250,000 words are in the Numb3rs story, but, yes, the FOB and MCR ones I'm working on will both be decent-sized, I think. I'm terrible at gauging how long my stories are going to be (I was absolutely convinced that the story currently standing, yet incomplete, at 236,000 words could be done in under 100,000, or 150,000, or 200,000).

It just seemed so OBVIOUS once I thought of it! Also, the official name of the jurisdiction is The Bailiwick of Jersey, and I mean, come on. BAILIWICK. HOW CAN I NOT GO THERE?

Plus, you know, people in frock coats drinking tea and all that. Kind of irresistible.
