I LOVE this idea, WIP Girl! It's like Short Attention Span Theatre! (or, okay, long attention span, at its tail end.) A Short History of Nearly Every Fandom Dira Was Once In!
Yeah, I followed everyone into due South from BtVS years ago, too, but it's fun to see the old vampire crew again. I've pulled out some of my favorite quotes.
"But she was gone for real now, no hope of second chances, and he was still here, picking up the pieces when his hands were so shaky he could barely hold himself together, let alone anyone else."
=====
he was in for a penny, and a pound, and all the tea in China
=====
He’d spent the past week practicing to kill his sire. His sire had spent the past week buying him things.
=====
Wesley sighed, and wondered why magic couldn’t be done on tabletops. He felt like a child, sitting on the floor
Thank you for posting this fic. I read Counting the Days and hoped there would be sequel. I googled your name and found your livejournal. Counting the days is a complete story, but it is clearly part of a tight series. With clearly incomplete sequel the whole story is much more complete. I am of course very disappointed that you have abandoned this fandom, this pairing and most especially this story, but this actually ends quite well and in a good place. And they lived slightly inperfectly happy ever after. ;).
You're extremely welcome, and I'm glad this WIP could provide some closure for Counting the Days! After all these years I still feel a bit guilty for walking away from that series. But they did indeed all live happily and soulfully ever after! :)
