I realize that shiny new Rays and such are terribly distracting (and fun) but I really wish there were some hope somewhere that you would come back to this. It is such a lovely idea/storyline.

I've been on a nostalgia streak lately and looking through my Angel/Spike bookmarks and see what still exists and what's moved onto AO3 and what seems lost forever. Somehow I'd completely missed that you posted a sequel to Counting the Days. Yay! Finding new fic so long after the fandom is kinda awesome \0/

And I'm glad you posted it cause even if it's a WIP it ends in a good way in where we can just imagine them living happily (but not too happily) forever after, after angst and h/c. Thank you for sharing this.
