If I really think about it, I guess Bozo was my first love. Bob Bell, not those pretenders. I was very upset when they interrupted the show to air President Kennedy's funeral. Bozo came on at lunch time and my mother used to give me baloney while she was making lunch for my brother and sister. One day she went into the living room and there was a piece of baloney, with one bite taken out of it, stuck to the tv screen. I always like to feed people, and Bozo and Sandy the Clown were my buddies. I liked Ringmaster Ned too.
Me, it was Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street. Lunchtime was 11:30, and before I could actually tell time I knew that that meant the end of Mr. Rogers. I remember playing He-Man and Skeletor with Nicky, the kid my mom babysat, using the halves of our sandwiches to represent their opposing strongholds.
