Every time I get the urge to move, I rearrange my furniture instead. I wonder how much I've saved over the years, in U-haul fees? On the other hand, the neighbors tend to glare at me for all the thuds and curses overhead in the wee hours of the morning.

I always blink in astonishment when I hear of the "urge to move." Probably because we moved so much when I was a kid... I never feel the urge to move, and when I have to move for job reasons, my ideal would be just taking my apartment with me whole... but they haven't invented that yet. *g*

I'm happy as long as it's an okay place and all my familiar things are around me. But sometimes I want more space, and a shower that can stay hot a really long time, and so on... I wouldn't want to move to a different city, though. That would be scary!

Don't you get the urge to travel at all? Vacations? Road trips?

Not road trips. I hate driving. I sometimes like going places--either to visit friends or because I want to see a place--but I always hate the actual act of getting there, and I'd always love to take my home with me. But that's not practical. *G*

Unless you're a snail. You can put one on your totem pole! :P

I like car trips when somebody else does the driving. You stare out the window, and zoooooooooooone.
