I nearly drowned in an avalanche of tulle and silk today. I hate proms, I hate prom dresses, but they're a good excuse to charge people exorbitant amount of money for a terrible looking dress that they are only going to wear once then put into storage for the rest of their lives.

Terrible waste of time, money, fabric and talent if you ask me.

Business is slow as usual.

Isn't it prom season yet? Where are all the obnoxious frilly dresses with five miles of tulle that I got last year?

Someone's going to be hurting in the morning. Let me back up. A shipment of fabric came in this morning. Special order from France for a client, god knows why it needed to be from France, it could have been purchased right down the street for 1/4 the price, but whatever. They're paying for it.
