Hi, all! I'm your appointed guest reccer for December, sneaking in before the mods close C6D Celebrations week. I figure you all have plenty of fic to read with all the end of the year fic exchanges, right? So instead, I'd like to point you toward some vids. Let me start off with a couple that never fail to remind me why I love this show -- and it's not just that Fraser really is that pretty. Though he is. So! Coming up, three illustrations of why I love due South.
Because it's epic. Northwest Passage by yunitsa
Fraser once says that the tale of how he came to Chicago is a long one that takes exactly two hours to tell. The story of what happens next filled out three(four) seasons of tv. yunitsa manages to pack it into four minutes. Plus, it's Northwest Passage -- I'm not sure you could get more quintessentially due South if you vidded the actual theme.

The vidders themselves describe this one best: Fraser has two Rays... and boy does he drive them nuts. The clip choices are fantastic, the song is hopping, and the lyrics are pure Fraser -- as is the jumping out of windows, the licking things, the door-holding...

To me, this one is a love letter to and about the characters. Vecchio is soft in the middle, Kowalski has a short little span of attention, and Fraser sees angels in the architecture. I have never made it to the end without breaking into a grin.
