Happy Monday! For my recs topic this week, I chose science fiction. Most of my fandom life has been about science fiction books, movies and shows, with a smidge of fantasy thrown in. However I've also always appreciated magical realism, the absurd, and any well-done drama--and Due South delivers on all of those in spades

Yay, sci fi recs! Sci fi plus due South always makes me think of catwalksalone's fabulous Ray/Ray AU, Cosmic Rays. Space! Rays! Frannie! Ian! UST! RST! Sex in zero-g! And a lot of really compelling universe-building. ♥

Awesome recs, dude! I love these so much (even though I am ALL about the realism, as you know :-) and your write-ups were great. I'd also like to second the recs for mondschein1's Koosh stories, and catwalksalone's great Cosmic Rays. And remind folks of troyswann's fabulous dS-meets-Blade Runner AU Real Boys (and the sequel); it's one of my favourite stories in the fandom.

Except, of course, that I am all about REALISM. *ahem*
