Happy Monday! For my recs topic this week, I chose science fiction. Most of my fandom life has been about science fiction books, movies and shows, with a smidge of fantasy thrown in. However I've also always appreciated magical realism, the absurd, and any well-done drama--and Due South delivers on all of those in spades

Awesome recs, dude! I love these so much (even though I am ALL about the realism, as you know :-) and your write-ups were great. I'd also like to second the recs for mondschein1's Koosh stories, and catwalksalone's great Cosmic Rays. And remind folks of troyswann's fabulous dS-meets-Blade Runner AU Real Boys (and the sequel); it's one of my favourite stories in the fandom.

Except, of course, that I am all about REALISM. *ahem*

Real Boys is definitely on the list for the third post, fusions and crossovers! Along with my other favorite fusion fic by, well, YOU! (Unless you don't want anyone to know you wrote fantasy ... :-D)
