Title: Anticipation Author: arrow00 Pairing: F/K (implied), Dief/? Rating: G Wordcount: 720 Categories: DitL (day in the life) Warnings: none Now with Podfic recorded by kalakirya!
HEE! So much fun! (I just stumbled over to my desk after spending many hours just mixing paint. The prep work for this project is ten times longer than the actual painting, unfortunately.) This was such a welcome delight! Like a donut to Dief. :)
This line in particular made me laugh very hard: Dief eats immediately, because food, and because though Ray doesn't seem to like kibble-food, Dief is always worried he will change his mind.
But the whole thing is hilarious and adorable. And very Dief! I love the lines he sort-of-hears. I figured most of them out, but not all of them, and wow, that was tough! (I know, you probably didn't want us to do that, but I'm stupid with fatigue at the moment.)
And I love his interpretations of Fraser's behavior, especially that last bit, licking Ray's fingers.
This was so much fun, and the best thing is, Arrow!fic, two days in a row! We win! \o/
so glad you enjoyed the silliness. it was the very first thing that popped into my mind thinking of "delayed gratification" other than, you know, Fraser tying Ray up and teasing the hell out of him (a delicious idea, but not really original. :)

This is so Dief, with his food fixation, overflowing enthusiasm and blatant ploys. Thanks for sharing!

There's nothing under-table but dust and a (too-old) piece of carrot.
So, I take it they're in Ray's apartment? *gg*
