Oh, rough is good. Very good. And the church bit was great -- reminded me of Victoria.

reminded me of Victoria

*nods* It wasn't exactly a deliberate echo--more that I think it's very likely that Ray K. was raised Catholic, and going to confession would be a natural thing for him to do if he's feeling really guilty about something. But the situations do parallel in really interesting ways.

Thanks for your comments.

My god, this is good. So fucked up and difficult and *real*. I love the way you ended this, without resolving anything, without letting Ray off the hook. And that scene in the confessional was perfect--well-meant illogic and all. Gah.

I'm really delighted that you liked the ending, non-resolution and all. When I was first planning this story I thought about having Ray actually tell Fraser, but that seemed wrong (both for the story and for their relationship).

Thank you!

Okay, it's pretty easy to make me cry, but I haven't read a fic that's made me cry like that in a long time. I really don't have any good feedback at all. Perfect. So painful, but perfect.

Dude. Telling me that the story moved you is wonderful feedback. Thank you so much.

This is really good. I liked that Ray didn't tell and realized that dealing with the secret on his own was his penance.
