I can't assume anything. I have too many contradictory DSverses in my head. /dork

(I mean, this could be set in a universe where Vecchio is straight and everyone has a little pixie in their closet who controls their destiny and all women are librarians TO THE MAX, for all I know!)

/dooooork

lol! oh dear. here is a convo that snoopypez and i had on this very subject:

snoopypez: though I wish I could see the outcome ;)
me: well, obviously they had sex.
me: that IS obvious, right?
me: like, you're not left thinking, "oh no what happened?"
snoopypez: heee, no, I think it's pretty clear

i realize that we have to go strictly by what's in the text, but the authorial intent was definitely a happy ending!

LMFAO! Haha, nooooo, he was very very VERY much IC in my eyes! I just do that so when the notifs come in, I can tell the difference between a RayV comment and my own! In other words "she is too lazy to switch journals to her own account..." *hangs head in shame*

Lololol. Wriiiiiite mooooooore! And! Tell me where I can find other RayV/Fraser stuff you've written!!!!! Do I just do a search for your username in ds_closet? :D

wow, thank you! *is flattered* pretty much everything i've written is up here in my scribblit fic comm (although the tags are not totally up-to-date, alas), with the exception of my two dSSS fics (which you can find in the archive) and a couple things that i've posted to various dS lj comms recently and haven't quite got around to reposting yet, which you can find in my lj memories under "my fic" (and none of that is f/v anyway, although there are a couple ot3 things).

I love how this new story makes "Flashback" resonate even more than it already does. This in particular thrilled me:

Everything he did remind me of--my dreary apartment, my half-wild pet (as I saw him), my work at the Consulate, my relentless and unappealing politeness--Victoria, for Heaven's sake--had convinced me more and more that I didn't want to be myself. It was only when Ray--who, for all his openness and volatility, seldom really reveals himself--showed me what we shared, what he felt, and that he wholeheartedly wanted me back, that I allowed myself to remember.

I adore this whole thing, it's just my flavor of angsty and the voices are spot on.

This line:

You pronounced my name correctly and it's worse than if you'd shot me again

is so perfect and heartbreaking. It just does such a good job of emphasizing what Fraser is losing when Ray loses his memory.
