this wee tale fits, even if it isn't the REAL story KAZ described once, didn't he say he had thought of a child playing with a dear grandparent or some such? still, in the world of Gackt and HYDE, it nicely wraps things up and has a believable ending to a fairy tale that didn't quite have a happy ending.

I have no idea what the original story behind the song is, haha. I assume someone died (because of that line about his words not reaching heaven) but I disregarded that assumption entirely in favour for the rest of the song. |D

This is so sad and beautiful.... Now there are two Piano Duet fics that become my favorite ever ♡

When I read the first half I thought the duet was Hyde and the rain, but then you wrote G and Hyde played piano together, so this is their duet? :D *very important question*

That moment when Gackt held Hyde's hand, my heart was beating as fast as Hyde's XDD and I loved the conversation they had at that moment before G holding his hand, I can really see Hyde said something like that too, bold yet he was nervous on the inside X))

wow I'm so happy I decided to check on my f-list for a moment. God, it's been ages indeed since I last saw you write GakuHai. ^-^" But this was wonderful, really. It had all the emotions that usually come with 'realistic' GakuHai. It felt sad from the very start, but maybe that's because the song is so beautiful. Still, I believe it's your writing style that made it seem so sad and melancholic, so nostalgic in a way. It perfectly fits the mood. Hyde's sentiment, the somewhat slow pace... I don't know, I just felt that this was a wonderful piece of fiction.

Haha, that's kind of you to say, but I haven't written GakuHai in almost two years already anyway. I don't count fics with Hideto as GakuHai.

I think it's probably 'cause I don't know Hyde very well. No matter how I write him, I feel that's it OOC. That and maybe because he's just too... real, to me. I just can't pen him down. |D
