On two elections (random small town things) that didn't have candidate I felt comfortable voting for, I wrote in "CAT." :D

All of our local elections had at least one candidate that I was okay with, but then, I do live in a place that had not only a blue and a red running for the house seat, but two greens, a socialist, and an independent.

Also, I got to vote to raise my own taxes in order to clean up our local water, so this pleased me.

I think I'm still in shock. It's been so long since we had a president with half a brain, I'm just at a total loss for words. I think that 'YAY' qalifies, though.

Bob Barr...how I am glad he is defeated. I'd like the party nomination.

Now we'll just keep watching for Prop 8.

Bob Barr is an enigma to me. After the number of times he made a total ass out of himself while still a Representative, I just don't understand...

a. What made him decide that he even vaguely resembles a Libertarian, or
b. Why he thought anyone would take him seriously in a run for President.

Unlike Nader, he's not even an effective spoiler. On the other hand, that fact has restored a tiny little bit of my faith in humanity. That we can (almost) all get behind 'Bob Barr is a dimwit', is reassuring.

As far as prop 8 goes... I'm just too burned out on it to have this argument in a nice way anymore. What gives these damned lunatics the idea that they have the right to tell others how to lead their personal lives? F-ing religious fundamentalists and plain old assholes make me sick.
