I'll be getting to the Meme that's making its way 'round in a moment but there's this movie coming out in of couple of weeks that I am super excited about and wondered if any of you are too? No... it's not Deathly Hallows though I am sort of getting excited about that too.

If I've done this right, you'll get the trailer for "The Kings Speech". ( Read more... )

Yep, why does growing older have to mean growing up???

The Kings Speech looks fabulous, cannot wait.
it's got Colin Firth! In a uniform!
Exactly, what's not to love???

Also, yay more R/T art!! Looking forward to that, I love the way you draw them!

I really want to get this new piece done. It's based on a scene from one of mrstater's stories and it's been banging around my head for a couple of years. There's partial nudity involved and strategically placed soap bubbles and that may be what's been holding me back. ;)

I haven't been excited about many movies this year until I saw the clip for The Kings Speech. My brother's in-laws were living in England at that time and I love to hear them talk about their experiences. And then there's Colin in uniform, did I mention that?

I haven't read The Light Fantastic. Should I?

Cats named Ulysses, Fran, Murphy and Dora

So who is Boss Cat out of those?

I may be old but I'm certainly not going to act like it!

A few weeks back, I had a reviewer tell me that R/T writers and readers were all 'mature, non-teenager types' and then also dropped in that she'd reached the grand old age of...21. I resisted the urge to say I was mature enough (in years at least) to be her mother!

I hope to get started on another Remus and Tonks piece that's been on the back burner for quite a while.

Yay.:D

I wouldn't read Light Fantastic without reading Colour of Magic first. Both were enjoyable but I wouldn't put them high on my list of favorite Discworld novels. Love the Watch, then Death and then the Witches novels. Haven't got much into the ones featuring the Wizards. Still, I'm going to slog on through all of them ( ... )
