A new year, a new try at journalling...
So as things slow down as I get many of my health issues handled (both eyes are now cataract free and I start looking for glasses for the first time in my life) I figure I might as well start to look back at LJ and away from FB and G+ for news and interesting goings on and thoughtful writing. -
A very long week
And somehow I injured my achilles tendon making walking rough. To add insult to injury, I've picked up some edema (sp?) in that foot that just makes it worse. Seems to be on the mend, but still. Ouch! -

I have been thinking a bit about the whole Chik-Fil-A (Hate-fil-A?) kerfuffle. What's sad is that all this shouldn't come as any surprise to people who knew the owners - they've been closed on Sunday ever since the beginning. So why the overheated rhetoric now...? Just another ( Read more... ) -
