Oz/Law & Order: SVU crossover

Tobias Beecher's trying to rebuild his family in the shadow of the man he was in prison. Elliot Stabler's struggling to continue in the wake of divorce while his job eats away at his soul. It makes for an odd friendship, but it works.

Aww..the fallout was sad, but I remain convinced we'll have a happy ever after. No, Kathleen wouldn't find the brand funny. And at least one of Toby's many secrets is out..that's good right? Great chapter.
ETA: I think he might have done Kathleen a favor at least.

maze, you are gonna love the upcoming balcony scene...

Yeah, I definitely think Kathleen needed a consequence. She never had anything the first time around, and even the canon year-later burning of her licence was pretty weak. Now instead of yelling, Elliot can always just get Toby to stand in front of her and look damaged.

Yes, inviting Olivia up was rather prescient.

I think Toby and Kathleen have found themselves a rather lovely point of bonding. Not quite what Elliot expected, but it could work.

I didn't really like Kathleen on the show - it was only writing this, and realising what her particular character traits could do here, that made her grow on me.

Poor Elliot. But it's his fault for being so stuffy and fun to torture.
