I think the designer was a woman. But these are art shoes designed to make a "statement on the condition of society and beauty standards". I look that issue this way, if "society" doesn't "like" the beauty standards, then reject them. Do not spend any money on it, don't watch it on TV or the movies, or read it, or get magazines on it. The market dictates a lot. If no one spends money, they will start whistling a different tune.

Start having the "beautiful people pagents"- based on brains, helping others, changing things for the positive. Not because they can tap dance, apply makeup, and look good in a bathing suit.
