New York Trip & Scans!!
Last Saturday, me and Rebecca went into New York City!!
Even though we had just gone in a couple of weeks ago, this was REALLY exciting because we actually went and saw a musical. Back in the day (high school), I used to go into NYC all the time just to see musicals. It was something me and my mom would do a lot (RENT for me was the shit in H.S. I could legit listen to it every single day and not get bored of it. Musicals and Punk rock XD).
So the plan was to leave my house no later than 8, get in to NY at around 9:30, get in the TKTs line (which opened at 10), then decide what we wanted to see. I probably should have researched more of what was in the line, but I was like, "whatever, I'm sure we'll find something XD" Of course though, a certain person took forever getting ready and we left 15 minutes behind schedule. (I guess she really needed to check twitter because she wouldn't have an hour and a half car ride to do so >.>) It all ended up working out in the end. We decided on Nice Work, If You Can Get It, mainly because the Gershwins wrote it and because Matthew Broderick was in it :3
*Side Note* Apparently Ricky Martin (yes, that Ricky Martin) is still alive!! He's in Evita, and apparently, he wasn't going to be in the show the day we went. So while we were waiting in line, this conversation happened:
Me (sarcastically, just in case XD): OMG, I'm so sad Ricky Martin's not going to be in the show today ;__;
Rebecca: I know, we came all the way into New York just to see him! :/
Random girl in line (totally seriously): Oh, you know he's not in the show today, we did the same thing.

So after waiting in line, we went over to Kinokuniya to get magazines, but they had moved the idol section. It was so disorienting. It also felt like there weren't as many of the back issues. So it was sad. After that, we were both really hungry, so we decided, or I should say I suggested, to go this one, I guess it's French, restaurant I used to go to all the time, called Maison. It was so good, I got basically bread drowned in a 3 cheese fondu then baked :Q__ SO GOOD!! Rebecca got some creme chicken crepe thing, if I remember correctly.
At this point, it was around 1:00 and the show started at 2:00, se we decided to go back to Times Square and just sit. It was really nice out :O (despite the call for thunder storms and rain)

We ended up just sitting down and looking at the magazines we bought. Then at 1:30 we walked over to the theater and got to our seats, which weren't too bad:
Unfortunately for me, the guy in front of me's head was right in my line of vision, and blocked most of the center part of the stage. Also, someone was wearing perfume of some sort, which gave me a headache after like 5 minutes DX
Other than that, the musical was a lot of fun. It was Matthew Broderick being typical Matthew Broderick, but it was an old style, musical. So lots of fun!! The songs were good too, which is important for a musical (for obvious reasons XD). I must say though, I have never watched the back dancers as much as I did this time O.o I think it's all the training for junior spotting, my eyes just tend to wander that way XD I think my favorite of the guys was the one who was the shortest of the male dancers XD He seemed to be trying to overcompensate for his height, and seemed to put a lot of effort in XD Also, during the one song, the one dancer lost his mic, but kept going :3 (I kept waiting for him to fix it XD)
So after the play, we walked back to the car and got some falafel (which was a mistake, because it was really messy to eat while driving >.<) and whatever it was rebecca got (sausage?).
Overall, it was a nice day!!

Now, Scans!! I ended up buying the September Issues of Duet, Potato, and WinkUp. I ended up just scanning in the ebi pages and the Playzone ones. Also, I got some ebi shop photos the other day, so I scanned those too, (they've probably been shared before, but whatever :P) as well as the pin-ups for BEST STAGE and Look at Star (just don't ask me to actually put them together, I don't think I have the patience for that OTL). I also had a winkup that had 4U. & Tsubasa in it, and while, I'm sure, it's been scanned, I've never seen it before, so I scanned that one too.
