AnthroCon has been slimy yet satisfying so far. A LOT OF RUNNING AROUND! So far I've managed to spot a nambroth, an eldarath a kitoxa, an underthebed, and a kazeno_taka! Been spending most of my time at the Lizard Laminations table helping with the badges, but I've also been running to a lot of different stores to help the artists out with missing supplies. Glad you are having an awesome time!

On another note, my parents are really pushing me to get more concrete plans for the trip up there in July. So do you know what your general schedules are on Thursday - Sunday? (and would love to meet some of the people you mention all the time on your journal, like Purple Dragon)

Unfortunately my work schedule has not yet been posted for that weekend, but I can assure you that I am available after 12:30PM on that Saturday, July the 14th. So most definitely I can drop by and visit you on that Saturday without work repercussions.

I'm from Toronto area. You ever been there? If so, how would you gauge our friendliness? xD

I have only ventured into Ontario but not Toronto! So I couldn't tell you exactly how to gauge your friendliness or driving behaviors.

But I CAN TELL YOU the type of language I would expect from you Toronto folk:

If you're from Chicago, you'd do well in NYC where the natives (not the transplants who THINK they're New Yorkers) are equally as cold, apathetic (sometimes hostile) who walk like we own the place and street lights don't mean shit. Did I mention the part where pedestrians are considered BOWLING PINS? =P

Anywho. Glad the pocketbook crisis was averted and that you're having a great time at the con! =D

Yeah I've heard you NYC folk are tough cookies. In Chicago we believe in the one centimeter rule. If your vehicle doesn't have one centimeter distance in front AND behind the neighboring cars, then it isn't properly parked! We also are known for our bicycle shotput contests where we collide into the front wheel of our Chicago cyclists hoping to launch them high and long into the air. It's quite the feat!
