new years eve! last day of 2008. it has been a pretty good year. still loving the job. got a super raise and a bunch of awards. had some bad dates, but had one very good one which lead to a great relationship. moved to a new house which went well. had the parents here in the summer and saw some good stuff in Tombstone. didn't go on many ( Read more... ) -

well it's come and gone again. except this time i was in atlanta and sick basically the whole time. so kinda crummy. i don't know why i only get sick when i fly. but other than that it was ok. and now back in tucson. and i came home to snow. in the desert. wtf. that is not acceptable. i need to get over my cold, not make it worse! -

Christmas is here yet again. Not my most favorite time of year. And this year I'm heading back to Atlanta. But I was at the 4th Ave Street Fair on Saturday with Shannon and got quite a few good presents. And then we went to check out the christmas lights in Winterhaven. so i'm on my way to atlanta bright and early tomorrow. and i didn't realize until today how cold it was. it's like a high of 65 there this weekend. at noon it was only 48. the high here is 90. I missed a casting call for extras for Transformers 2 here in Tucson. They are filming tomorrow at the airport. I might go by just to check it out. And by might I mean probably. And then secretly hope they need more extras and pull them from the crowd. Why oh why did I have to find out a week too late? -

I went to Best Buy yesterday because Zeb wanted to check out big screen TVs. I had no idea how much they had dropped in price. The TV I bought last year in February for $2200 was for sale at $900. WOW. Samsung 40 inch LCD. The 52 inch was only $2070. If I had known that they were getting that cheap I'd have bought a bigger TV a while ago. ( Read more... ) -

I am officially in my new home. I started by moving in just my bed and couple loads a day. But then this weekend we rented a big truck and moved over all of the rest of the big stuff.
