So the Femme and I are now the proud owners of a mortgage that owns a home. It's remarkably clean inside, which is a good thing, and we've managed to tear up a corner of the carpet, and the floors beneath look to be in fairly good condition, so as of now, resurfacing doesn't seem necessary

Congrats on the house. With the wife and the fur-kid, that makes you, what? Oh, I know. A real-live grown up type person! :) (I've been at work since 6:30am, so I think that makes me one, too.)
