A Bulleted List That Includes Both Topics Normally Found In An LJ Post And Also Too Many Capital Letters
  • I had a fabulous time at J&E's New Year's Eve party. Now a wonderful and glorious tradition, I had a really good time seeing some friends I haven't seen in a while.
  • FemmeToFarad and I are hopefully closing on our house tomorrow, around 4PM. Should only ( Read more... )

Bulleted-list format posting works well, espeically if it results in posts. ;^)

I'd vote for a July 1 party. Or any summer party in the vicinity of, but not on, June 30, as that's when I'll be in the state for my sister's wedding.

::wishes she were close enough to make a February party... but that's really just wishful::

And yay for the house!

I'm certainly more flexible on summer dates as of now given location, but I will second the "not on June 30" concept. I think that was a wedding date I'd heard. Interesting, esp. 'cuz it's also my parents' anniversary.

Wow. And there are much posts. ... I've been told to stop replying to this so the Femme can. Consider yourself handed off to her capable hands. Or ASCII characters. Or something.

  1. Bulleted list posting is cooll
  2. Congrats on and good luck with the house
  3. That's a quality notion of cat-proofing. Does this somehow get to go on a list with "Don't touch cat" and "Should you begin touching cat, do not stop touching cat"?
  4. Please do keep me posted on events to come. :)
  5. Oh yeah, as time permits, we ought to grab dinner sometime this month... I'll put the ball in your court on that one since I imagine you guys will be busy with the house and such

Ooo! Ooo!
Summer party! (thinks about cheap direct flights to Baltimore and escaping the hellish St. Louis summer heat) Very cool idea. Will try somehow to get there. Should involve some sort of weekend, I think.

Good luck with the house. If you need advice from folks who have done the 'fixer-upper' thing with it turning out resonably well, just give us a call, or drop a line. Luckily, it doesn't sound like a 'fixer-upper' at all.

Question for the two of you: Other than money, is there anything stopping you both from flying in, say, on a Friday night, and heading out on a Sunday night? As in a total weekend location-conversion?

Really, it is the cost of tickets... and Southwest has some good deals on Baltimore/St. Louis so we should be able to get something together.
I like displacing my location for a weekend every so iften.

A response which is itself in bulleted list form, and also includes too many capital letters, though only by cheating with abuse of stylesheeting.
  • Bulleted lists are teh awesome.
    • NESTED Bulleted lists are cooler still.
    • Ordered lists, for reference, would suck.
  • Sounds like the party was awesome, and I'm sorry I missed it.
    • But I got to hang out with Dave Westover and Sean&Julie Steeg for the first time since college, so I'll live. ;)
      • There was also a Devon&Julie, among other people, but I didn't know them 'tall during college, so "since college" would not apply.
    • I believe they say "hi."
  • Good luck on the closing, and the moving, and the debt and stuff!
  • Is the party for the Femme on the 17th, or near it?
  • I haven't a sufficient clue of my life to speak of summer yet. But, hell or high water, I'll have weekends off.
  • All I need to make inflatable bedding an option is a pump, really. That should be easy once I have a real job and junk. So count on me.

Did you actually use stylesheeting in your post? If so, that's both ridiculous, and good for your l33t sk111z. Glad to hear the Steeg et. al party was a good time as well. As long as you're having a good time, so much the better.

The party would be, in fact, /on/ the 17th. In the evening. Perhaps through to the 18th.

In that comment up there? Yup, I used
text-transform: capitalize on the whole thing, and I changed the bullets in each ul. You can check it. ;)

I was in a very CSS frame of mind, since I'd spent a couple hours immersed in stylesheeting working on the resume for DICE. On the plus, it seems to have spawned a lot of contact since then. Not stuff that seems all that realistic, but it's a good sign, I'm pretending.

I'll try to keep my schedule open on the 17th/18th.

In a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence ...
in time every post tends to be occupied by an employee who is incompetent
to carry out its duties ... Work is accomplished by those employees who
have not yet reached their level of incompetence.
