Grr, I hate that it's so fecking cold and yet I still have to have my window open if I want to be able to breathe, because one of my Freshers refuses to not smoke in his room and it travels along the corridor and infests the rest of us :(

uhm, sorry about the smoking thing, that sucks.
and about the milk, i think it should be ok... i think, either way, you could try boiling it to figure it out o.o though i'm not sure what you meant by 5th & 6th, and yes, i said i'm slow today, didn't i? xD

Haha, lol don't worry about it :)
Why not? I'm sure it'll be fine.

Yeah, I meant the 5th and 6th, as in the dates... like today is the 5th (I think). I've decided not to drink it, just in case lol I don't want to accidentally poison myself :P

this bday will mean too much things LOL. Like, i have a project to hand in that day, it's gonna be the last day of class (well, almost, but yes xD!), somehow the numer 22 sounds way bigger than 21 ever did lol. i don't know... i want to go back in time.

i think it should be totally ok, but really, you could just boil it. if it doesnt go like... heavy, should mean it's ok, but yeah, i guess not drinking it at all it's safer lool.

Ah, fair enough then, 22 is a bit scarier than 21, definitely. Good luck with the project :)

Lol my flatmates have stolen it now to experiment (read as: boiling it with malibu), and it turned out it was off anyway.

Thanks, my flatmates boiled it with malibu in the end, and it turned out to be off.

It could well have been, but it did smell slightly funky anyway... which isn't fair, considering the Best Before date said the 6th December, and it's therefore gone off early.

Oh, I don't know, boiled milk is nice sometimes :P

*hugs* I had the same problem for a while when the guy across from me had his dad round for a couple of days and he incessantly smoked a pipe >< It got through walls, doors, clothing... Eurgh ><

And for the milk? Yuck! :)

It's really annoying me :( And the flat reps know about it and have given him a warning and yet he's continuing anyway!

Yep, definite ick factor.

A few of my flatmates drink malibu with milk, and apparently it seemed like a logical experiment to boil it... I pointed out that the alcohol would be burnt off by boiling the malibu, but that seemed like a moot point to their drunken minds :P

OUt of date means the latest they're allowed to leave it on the shelf is the store, you silly goose. There's about three or four days after that before it starts to go wiffy and you can't drink it.

Oh. :P

Well, they lied on this bottle anyway, because it said December 6th as the Best Before date and yet was actually very off yesterday.
Buggers.

Sometimes they'll start getting wiffy early. Usually, though, you have time.
