On a whole variety of things

We had this big fire safety talk at uni this morning, including about 5 videos of fires, a few of them real footage of serious fires in which people died. Appallingly, a lot of the students in the lecture theatre laughed at these videos! Granted, this didn't continue for long or all the way through, but the fact that so many found something ( Read more... )

people amaze me. really. and not in a good way. thugh, i guess im not surprised anymore. my gradma say sth like "you dont believe that people are good" and i wanted to roll my eyes at her. for the record, i do believe it, but, whatever, you made me remember that lol.

i have watched some episodes of TBBT, I just was never able to FOLLOW comedies. lol. i don't know why, i'm pretty sure we are still in season one here... sometimes if i catch it i watch it, it's really great. <3. And i do udnerstand the waiting thing. There are some series I'm waiting to be shown here to see them ♥

btw. i still think i write too much and that i need to put a restrain or sth in my mouth (or fingers in this case looool xD!). Ok. I'll shut up now ♥

It just astounds me that people can be so callous. It shouldn't by now, but it still does.

Oh, I love TBBT, it's one of my favourite shows :)

Lol don't worry, it's fine. I like that you're so chatty!

i know. i usually have a huffie way of looking at those kind of things, but sometimes i just go... "why it just doesn't surprise me anymore?". I wish people would realize how stupid they are sometimes.

and i think it's one (or the best) of the comiedies (is that word right?) I just can't never... keep up with them. Actually. i find it hard to keep up with shows on tv. but some i convince myself too much that i want to twatch them lol.

And oh. i guess that's a good thing (specially cause i seem to be overly chatty today *blush*!).

Yeah, some people don't even seem to consider the implications of their actions sometimes. The world (especially, I'm sad to say, this generation) needs a good kick up the arse.

Comedies is word, yes :) And I agree that it's one of the best. I probably watch far too many shows on TV :P

It's a good thing, and no need to feel embarrassed about it; being sociable is always great!

Big Bang Theory <3
I watched it online haha. I'm incredibly impatient.

Also, I've seen the Coca Cola advert, and it is now officially Christmas :D
OH THANK GOD! I've been waiting for that.

Lol I like to wait for the shows I most love, like BBT and Brothers & Sisters... I'm not entirely sure why, but w/e.

I KNOW! It doesn't feel right until that advert's aired. They seem to have left it a little later this year, which I like because I hate when Xmas seems to start in September/October.

I used to do that too haha. Until last march or smt I'd never watched anything online, but when Supernatural went on a break from the TV, I couldn't wait anymore, I had to watch it, and now I'm just in the habit of watching that/TBBT online haha.

Lol fair enough :) There are a couple of things I've watched online in the past, and I probably will again at some stage for other programmes.

With the laughing at bad videos thing, you shouldn't judge too much as a lot of people react that way to things that are shocking or hard to watch. Sometimes I'm one of those people and I hate myself for it afterwards but its just my gut-reaction.

BIG BANG THEORY IS EPIC.

My Mum says I'm Sheldon with my anti-social behaviour! Heh.

And I agree with you on the Mr Muscle front: the other guy was much cooler! :):)

Yeah, I know, and I think if it was just an immediate thing, I would have just ignored it, but it went on intermittently for about 45mins and it was more disrespectful than shocked, as the people were openly talking and saying things about 'how stupid' some of the people in the videos were, and so on. I don't know, maybe I am being too judgmental.

I LOVE IT SO MUCH!
Lol I am very like Sheldon too :P But also Leonard. It's awesome XD Especially as I actually get the jokes (shows like the Simpsons, the jokes are so slapstick and obvious that I just find them unfunny).

He really was :)

Oh no in that case you are right to find it disrespectful.

I thought you meant in the way I find the guy falling off the ladder on the insurance adverts funny. Schadenfreude is a wonderful thing :)

It really is :) But there's a definite difference between laughing at someone tripping over themselves and laughing because you've somehow determined that someone's death is their own fault (I actually heard one of the girls saying something to that effect).

It's lucky there are also some fantastic people in the world, that's all I'm saying.

Some of them really do. It's lucky there are also some fantastic people in the world, or it would be very easy to give up on humanity.
